Insurance companies have experts on their side. Now you do too.
Trust Guard Adjusters was founded to give Southeast Michigan homeowners the same advantage carriers have had all along.
Homeowners deserve an advocate in their corner when it matters most. At Trust Guard Adjusters, we work exclusively for you, not the insurance company, to make sure your claim is documented thoroughly, presented accurately, and settled fairly.
We handle the process so you don't have to fight it alone. That means honest communication from day one, no pressure, no jargon, and no shortcuts. Just a licensed Michigan public adjuster who takes your claim as seriously as you do. You shouldn't have to settle for less than what your damage actually costs to fix. That's what we're here for.

Insurance Adjuster vs. Public Adjuster
Not all adjusters are on your side. Here's the difference that matters.
What we promise and what we don't.
We only work for you
We are never hired by, affiliated with, or compensated by any insurance company. Our only client is the policyholder.
We take what we can personally handle
We deliberately limit our caseload. Every client gets direct access to a licensed adjuster. Not a call center, not a case number.
We're honest about what we find
If the initial settlement was fair, we'll tell you. But if you're owed more, we won't stop until you get what you deserve.
We won't tell you what you want to hear
Some adjusters quote big numbers to win your business. We'd rather quote you an accurate number and earn it.
The people behind your claim

Ryan Donaldson
Licensed Public AdjusterI didn’t get into public adjusting because I grew up in the insurance world or spent 20 years working claims. I got into it because I learned firsthand how frustrating insurance claims can be when you’re the one dealing with the damage. A few years ago, our basement flooded for the second time in four years. We did what most homeowners do, we trusted our insurance company to do the right thing. Instead, they pushed back on major parts of our claim and offered far less than what it actually took to repair the damage. I spent months fighting with them, going back and forth, trying to understand their process, and even after all of that, we were still underpaid. That experience stuck with me. I realized most homeowners are at a huge disadvantage when filing a claim. You’re dealing with damage to your home, trying to keep life moving, and at the same time you’re expected to understand complicated policies, documentation requirements, and negotiation tactics that insurance companies deal with every day. That didn’t sit right with me. I started Trust Guard Adjusters to help homeowners avoid going through what my family went through. My approach is simple: be honest, communicate clearly, and fight for what’s fair. No pressure, no confusing insurance language, and no treating people like claim numbers. I’m from the Midwest, and I believe in doing what you say you’re going to do. When someone calls me, they’re usually dealing with a stressful situation. My job is to make that process easier and help them get the settlement they deserve.
